Hello,

I am a student and my laptop had this problem 5 times, four when I first purchased it during my warranty, and now it suddenly happened again with "Boot device not found." I have tried everything to system recovery and it is not working. Is there anything I can do? Please help.

Hello @Kawaii46800

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

The Windows file system could be corrupt or there is a hard disk error or undefined sofware or technical error.

(1) Test your hardware Using the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)

--->>> Perform Extensive Tests

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2854458-2733239-16

See section <Running HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI tests when Windows doesn't start>

See how it works:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14GKIpGPNRM

(2) Please report your results ( error messages, take pictures )

( if serial number, device id, UUID, System Board CT Number is displayed, please blur )

Thanks @Ub6424 for trying. Unfortunately  none of the videos helped and the only thing that will show up is the system diagnosis.

Hello @Kawaii46800

(1) Please run

- Memory Test

- Storage Tests

- Hard Drive Check

I have tried them before and the extensive test, but there is no failure ID or anything.

Hello @Kawaii46800

To help you I just need to know the product number (p/n) xxxxxx#xxx of your notebook !

It looks something like this:

ub6424_1-1667543580549.png

You will find this information on the back/rear of your notebook in small alphanumeric letters. Use a magnifying glass or the camera zoom feature on your smartphone to read it better.

Kind regards
