Hi @SHUVO22

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

It sounds like you're dealing with a couple of serious issues with your HP Laptop. The "Boot device not found 3F0" error generally indicates a problem with the hard drive or storage device. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these issues:

1. Check BIOS Settings

  • Restart your laptop and press F10 repeatedly as it boots to enter the BIOS setup.
  • Once in the BIOS, check if your hard drive is detected. Look for a section that shows the storage devices.
  • If the hard drive is not detected, it might indicate a hardware failure.

2. Run Hardware Diagnostics

  • While in the BIOS, you can also access HP’s built-in diagnostics. Look for an option to run a hardware test on your hard drive.
  • Follow any on-screen instructions and note any error codes that may appear.

3. Reconnect the Hard Drive

  • If you're comfortable doing so, consider opening your laptop to check the hard drive connections.
  • Ensure that the hard drive is properly seated in its connector. Dust or loose connections can cause detection issues.

4. Reset BIOS to Default Settings

  • In the BIOS menu, there should be an option to "Restore Defaults" or "Load Setup Defaults." This can sometimes resolve issues related to incorrect settings.

5. Check for Windows Updates

  • If you manage to boot into Windows, ensure that your operating system is fully updated. Sometimes updates can resolve stability issues.

6. Check Event Viewer for Errors

  • If you can access Windows before it crashes, use the Event Viewer to check for any critical errors that might give insight into what's causing the crashes.
  • Type Event Viewer in the Windows search bar and look under "Windows Logs" > "System" for errors.

7. Perform a Clean Install of Windows

  • If your hard drive is detected and you're able to access it, consider performing a clean installation of Windows 11 again. Ensure you have the latest installation media.
  • When reinstalling, make sure to delete all partitions during the installation process to avoid potential conflicts.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
