Welcome to FORUM !!!
1) Try to reseat the hard drive and see if that works.
2) Perform Harddrive test if possible. Replace if it says Failed.
3) Try to Restore BIOS default settings.

I did a hard drive test and it failed. So I'll need to get a new hard drive. Would you have any suggestions on what hard drive to purchase for the model and would going to the likes of PC world be able to help with this situation as in installing the hard drive.

As per your unit specs it has 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA Hard Drive.

NOTE: The hard drive spare part kit does not include the hard drive bracket
