Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...
Sorry, but some of the newer laptops ONLY have UEFI mode. If there is no toggle setting in the UEFI/BIOS settings for Legacy/CSM, then you would have to create UEFI boot media and see if the laptop sees that.
IF you already have the ISO file, you can use this RUGUS utility to create UEFI boot media from it: https://rufus.ie/en_US/
