When I switch on my laptop it shows this screen, saying boot device not found, please install an operating system on your hard disk, hard disk 3F0, after running a diagnostic it says that the SMART check passed but the short DST failed and it shows me a failure ID: 9TTX8K-7GFA19-XD7V6K-60SD03 and product ID: K6C60EA#ABU

I’ve upload some photos of what the screen says. I’m not sure what else to do or how to fix this issue? Does anybody have any advice on what to do?

Hello,


The test found a problem with your hard drive and it may need to be replaced. If possible, back up your personal files to a flash drive or external hard drive as soon as you can.

 

The following documents are available for reference:

 

The procedure for replacing the hard disk drive can be found in the HP manual below on pages 59 and 60.
