HP laptops with Win 8 and newer OS come with Windows installed in UEFI mode (legacy off) on the GPT partitioned hard drive.
In your case, you found that your hard drive was in GPT, but your notebook boots into Windows only when legacy support is enabled. If you disable legacy support, the system doesn't boot displaying a "boot device not found" error.
It appears that only possible solution is to reinstall Windows in UEFI mode (legacy off + secure boot on). Let us know if you want to do it.

Secure boot cannot be enabled if legacy mode is enabled. If legacy mode is disabled, the boot option will be automatically switched to UEFI mode and secure boot option will be available.
The title of the post suggests that you got a "Boot (Device) Not Found" error when you disabled legacy support for secure boot. This sounds like to me that your Windows is installed in legacy mode on the MBR partition drive. You can check your hard drive's partition style with the link below.

If the hard drive is in MBR, only ways to enable secure boot is either to covert the hard drive to GPT from MBR using command prompt (without any data loss) or reinstall Windows in UEFI mode with Windows installation media.
Let us know if your drive has MBR or GPT. Also, provide the product or model number of your business laptop.

You can use HP Cloud Recovery Client that creates a bootable recovery usb drive that installs Windows, drivers and HP software. See this link for how to use it.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4374279-4216685-16
You can download the recovery client from this link.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp150501-151000/sp150676.exe
Once you create a recovery usb drive, keep it connected to the notebook and take the steps below:
1. Restart the notebook and enter the BIOS and select 'Legacy Support Disable Secure Boot Enable' and save and exit to restart.
2. tap the F9 key rapidly for boot options menu (or boot manager). Select the usb drive and click the Enter key to start the installation. If the installer tells you to disable secure boot to boot from the usb drive, go back to the BIOS and select 'Legacy Support Disable Secure Boot Disable' and save and exit. After the installation is completed, you can enable secure boot.
