There's a LOT of stuff in msconfig you can mess with.  There are five tabs and loads of things that will hose up your PC and boot process if you do not know what you're doing.  Simply saying you changed something gives us nothing to work with.

Sorry, don't think you can.  That's something you will have to look up online.

As to safe mode, unlike with Win7, there is no function key you can press in Win10 to get right into it.
