Hi, I have a HP laptop 15-bs1xx which is 2 years old. It was working fine yesterday and then today I have gone to turn it on and it spent 20 mins loading on black screen. I turned it and on with the power button and it’s said “diagnosing problem” and then the “attempting repairs” screen for an hour. I turned off and pressed esc and then f2 system diagnostics and ran a quick hard drive check and it says “no hard drive installed. Please check that the power and data cables are connected properly”. I tried an extensive check and it said the same thing. What should I do now? Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I recommend you try reseating the hard drive (if you are comfortable) and check if it helps.
Follow the steps in the below article to continue troubleshooting.
