Booting problems

HP Recommended
Mini 110-11
Microsoft Windows XP

I recently dug up my Hp mini from my college days and tried to restart but I cant get past the boot screen. The final screen has the hp logo and an f9 and an f10 option , of which neither works. The f9 is change boot device order and the f10 is Bios set up options.  It's running on XP, is there anything I can do?

Hi,

So basically it starts and goes to startup menu.

If you turn off the PC by holding the power button, turn on PC and repeatedly press the ESC key does the startup menu appear?

I am thinking does the keyboard function? (Could you try an external keyboard)

From the startup menu can you enter diagnostics by pressing F2 key?

I woul probable also remove the Hard Drive initially and try reseating the RAM modules.

Are any leds blinking?

Let me know,

David
