I have Linux running on my main drive which is HDD. And I have installed an SSD (windows already running in it) in my Optical Drive using a caddy. How can I use both drives with different OS and also get an option to choose while booting?
Notebook Name:
HP Pavilion AU114-tx
Any help appreciated. Thanks

For details on dual-booting Linux and Windows, your best bet, since HP does not provide Linux support, is to go to the support forum for the Linux distro you are using.
But that said, the basics of getting this to work are:
1) Have BOTH OSs resident in the PC at time of booting
2) Boot into the Linux distro
3) Open a command window and type "sudo update-grub" (without the quotes). This will create a boot menu in the Linux filesystem and should find and add Windows to it's list of OSs.
Then, when you reboot, you will be presented with a menu.
