HP Pavillion 15-cc509no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been trying to fix it for a while now.

All I did was putting it on stand by. When I started it up again my entire homescreen/desk was filled with these Files/shortcuts: bootmgfw.efi.mui, bootx64.efi., memtest.efi.mui. wgl4_boot.ttf. dll.files etc.  At that time I couldn't use my computer. After a recovery, reinstallation of Windows 10, sfc/scannow, I was able to move all these Files into a folder on my desk and at least be able to use it. I've searched for Malware and found One which was placed in quaratine. I've updated drivers and programs and all that. What happened? Where do those files come from? And how do I remove/move Them to where they should be?

Surely Microsoft or Google are the best to answer this?

I did ask microsoft and they even tried to help through remote access but they hade no idea what had happened. So I thought maybe someone had an ideal here. 🙂

Hi

Logically you did not do a clean install, like Factory Fresh, but an over the top keeping all the corrupted files, trojans etc etc.

Also if an install was done and those files were not needed then deletion should be done.
