I apologise in advance, as English is not my first language, and may make grammatical errors.

As I mentioned above, I bought an used probook and found out that the BIOS is locked with a name and a password, that I have no way of recover. I have bought it from a site that offers used Laptops, PCs, etc. and they said they had nothing to do with it. I figure there's only way to solve this, and that is by resetting the BIOS. I tried removing the button cell battery and putting it right back in, didn't help. This was suggested by a user on YouTube. HP support assistant says there is an update available for the BIOS. If there's a way to reset it or fix it without that, I'd be glad if shared with me.
