Product: HP ZBook Power 15.6 inch G10 Mobile Workstation PC (7C3L9AV)

If I leave my machine unattended (locked or unlocked) - it goes to 'sleep'. In spite of having all sleep functions disabled, it still does this. Once it's done this - it cannot be woken up without a long press of the power button / restart.

 

I have two brand new, identical machines with this problem.

 

Clearly, with some rudimentary searching, I am not alone with this issue on HP equipment. I opened a ticket which HP went through basic checks, hardware diagnostics and settings changes. All of which passed or had been applied. No change. They now want to change the motherboard - on two laptops less than three weeks old - and they don't have the motherboards in stock.

 

Quite infuriating for business equipment...
