Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-ed1013dx

I use my laptop for everything.  School, work,  and play.  One thing I noticed is that the hinge design is flimsy,  metal screws on cheap plastic. Upon opening my laptop to get some homework done, i heard a crack and saw that the hinge broke and caused my screen to break aswell. I'm a broke college student and I absolutely need this to study.  My warranty expired last year in January. I don't have the money to repair or buy a new one.  What are my options?

I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP ENVY X360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-Ed1013dx.

 

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair. 

 

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center 
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.
