HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14-dh0107tu

Computer: HP pavilion 14dh CPU i3 8th Gen RAM: 16gb OS: Arch Linux

Issue: The issue when my computer boots it sometimes shows "CMOS invalid Checksum CMOS ERROR 502 Reset". When I move(or slam the table) my laptop is restarts.

Cracked motherboard or bad solder connection.  Return it if in warranty.

 

If out of warranty possibly a heat gun can be used to reflow the solder.  Any shop can try that. There are some reports of using a hair dryer to repair PCB and graphics cards but a laptop is a major disassembly.
