Hi,
I had a bios password on bootup for a HP 15-ay041m which was known and I had removed. Unfortunately after doing so the computer still asks for a password which is now unknown. Neither my old password nor just pressing enter works so I'm essentially locked out.
I have tried removing the cmos battery which reset the bios but did not do anything about the password (I see no PW jumper either) and i have used a popular default password generator which had no luck either. the halt code is i51498305. the code that was spit out was 44590921 which was no good.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
