I changed the battery on my HP 250 G7 Laptop. Ever since, the laptop won't power up with AC power connected. When starting up, an error (502) persists telling me the CMOS checksum is invalid. I have updated BIOS using the HP Diagnostics Tool. The error persists.

I have read that my Laptop model doesn't have a seperate CMOS battery, therefore I don't know why BIOS update doesen't solve the problem. Please help. I have searched many forums but none of the solutions have worked.

I have gone through all the steps that other posts with similar issue explain, but the error keeps coming back. I cannot power on the laptop without AC help. I have also read the HP 250 G7 does not have an RTC (CMOS) battery. The main battery maintains the BIOS settings. How can I configure the main battery itself? Please if anyone can help. Thank you.
