Hi:

Your notebook does not have a CMOS battery.

The main battery maintains the BIOS settings.

If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual, you will find no part number listed for a CMOS (also known as a RTC) battery, nor will you find a procedure in chapter 6 to remove or replace a CMOS/RTC battery.

If it was your intention to run the notebook without the main battery, you will have to reset the time and date every time you turn on the notebook--if yours is one of those where you can even run the notebook without the battery.

Some you can, some you can't.
