Pavilion dv6 2170ee
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recently updated the BIOS from F.1A to F.1C firmware.

In BIOS the Only options I have in System Configuration are:

Language
Virtualization Technology
Fan Always On
Action Keys Mode

>Boot Options

And in Boot Options menu:

POST Hotkey Delay (sec)

CD-ROM Boot
Floppy Boot
Internal Network Adaptor Boot

>Boot Order

I can't find secure boot. As you see there are very little boot options that I can choose of... just some devices and not system booting configurations.

I tried to use HP System Diagnostics UEFI and the only options that I have are some testing buttons; when I go to HDD Information there is a caption that says SMART: Enabled (and that I can't change - it's just a text) can I disable it?

Plus I don't have the BIOS Management button as shown in this picture:

Can I downgrade the BIOS firmware?

Can I reinstall the BIOS Firmware

Hi:

Your notebook's BIOS never had a secure boot setting.

That setting only started with PC's that came with Windows 8 installed from the factory.

There is nothing you can do to add secure boot to the BIOS options menu.
