So I have been attempting to boot from a usb drive but I can not find anywhere in settings to enable legacy mode to allow it to do so.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are trying to boot from the USB drive and unable to find the legacy support setting in the BIOS.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the steps in the below article to disable secure boot and it will automatically enable the legacy support.
