I'm using a HP Laptop 14s. I tried clicking exit but I still end up in the UEFI screen, tried restarting but still end up in this screen, I trie CTRL + ALT + DEL but still ended up on this screen.

@NateNath, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Boot Order in UEFI

In the UEFI screen, look for Boot Order or Boot Options.

Make sure your internal hard drive or SSD is listed first in the boot sequence.

If it's missing or listed incorrectly:

It might indicate a drive detection issue.

Check if the Hard Drive/SSD is Detected

In the UEFI screen, go to Storage, System Information, or Main tab.

Look for your HDD/SSD name or capacity (e.g., 512GB, 1TB).

If not detected, then:

It may be loose/disconnected.

The drive may have failed.

You'll need to open the laptop (if comfortable) or take it to an expert.

Perform Hardware Diagnostic (HP Built-in)

From the UEFI screen, look for Diagnostics or press F2 at startup.

Run the Hard Drive Test.

If it fails, the drive likely needs replacing.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
