Hi,

 

I can’t seem to find hardware virtualization in the bios. Perhaps my laptop doesn’t have that feature???

Hi:

 

All of the processors that HP offered in that model support virtualization.

 

See the service manual at the link below, chapter 5, pages 116 - 118 for the location of the enable VT setting.

Also see the note at the top of page 116...NOTE: Some of the listed System Configuration options may not be supported by your computer or your operating system.

Thanks for the response, however, the manual you're referring too says "Enable/disable virtualization technology (select models
only; disabled by default)." I guess mine isn't one of them. It is not available in the BIOS.

I don't understand it either, because all of the processors that model could have support VT.
