HP retired support for the model series since it is more than 10 years old.

Also, the BIOS files for that model series can only be run in Windows.

If the BIOS is corrupt, you will have to take it to a PC repair shop and see if they can reflash the BIOS for you, as long as the cost is not too high.

FWIW, here are the info and exe file links to the latest BIOS update I could find for your notebook (F.52):

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57001-57500/sp57396.html

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57001-57500/sp57396.exe

Is there an older version that I can put on a usb flash drive ?

As I wrote earlier, none of the BIOS files can be made into a USB recovery drive.

Not the original BIOS release, or any of the ones that came after it.

HP did not make BIOS files that could be made into USB recovery drives several years after your notebook's model series was released to market.

I understand now ,

thank you for your help and time .

You're very welcome.

Maybe a PC repair shop can do something with the files inside the exe file.

You can use the free 7-zip file utility to extract the exe file into its folder and you will see the files inside the folder.

Maybe it’s not the bios because my cooling fan was not working I was turning the laptop on and wait until it gets hot like crazy hot then I shutdown and turn on it starts and I was using it like that until it shutdown cause of overheating .

I replaced the fan one week earlier now if I want it to start I have to remove the fan until it gets hot .

what do you think the problem is ?

Does it happen to be the gpu getting up ?

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know what the problem could be, and I recommend that you start a new discussion on that issue.

I agree...it is probably not a BIOS issue.
