So basically, windows updated my BIOS to F.12 which bricked my laptop. The same thing happened during F.10 but I was able to use a recovery flash drive to get it back running.

But now, I can't even recover it. This is the error message I am getting(refer image). I used

this hp support page([Personal Information Removed]) to download and make a recovery usb flash drive.

Tried with two different USBs and nothing works.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: variant is 3050ti with 5800H

I am facing the same issue in HP Pavilion X360

Thank you for posting back.

To get the answer to this question, after the motherboard is changed the system BIOS needs to be flashed and product details need to be tattooed.

I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

@Alex693

Thank you for posting back.

Don't worry! We are in your corner.
I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly. I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
The last thing I can suggest try and restore the OS back to the factory default, which will isolate whether it’s a software or hardware issue.

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
