I'm trying to update my BIOS on this laptop so that I can set 'Wake on USB' so that the keyboard attached to my KVM Switch can cause the laptop to wake up when hibernating.  So I reboot and press the ESC key until I get the menu.  In the menu I scroll down to BIOS Settings (F10).  When I select that option I'm presented with a screen that displays a large QR code and asks for some sort of key or passcode.  Why is this being presented and how can I get past it so that I can see my actual BIOS settings?

Also, while booting, it is displaying 'Protected by HP Surestart'.  (Not sure if that has anything to do with this or not.)
