Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to get to safe mode from the command prompt.  Tried to do start up repair & failed

Tried to use available restore points & failed

Tried to repair Window 10 but software want to fully install new.  Trying to avoid that step.  Tried to sign in w/ user name and password & told passwords were wrong.  Any help would be appreciated

How can you get to Command prompt first ? Hope this makes sense.

HP Recommended

I start up & hit escape key after password entered.  Choose F11 key to find the recovery options where the troubleshoot button is an option. I pick that & then pick advance options in next screen.  The command prompt button is available in the right column of recovery options
