I installed a clone 500G ssd to replace the existing 256G ssd. My laptop cannot boot up......”.boot device not found”

@Philiplaw

When most folks say they "cloned" a drive, they are not using the term correctly -- as that means making an EXACT sector-by-sector copy.  Most of the time, folks simply copy partitions and assume they cloned the drive, when they did not.

Most likely, you did not do a true "clone" and the boot partition (possibly hidden) did not get copied.

Thank you for your information.

I cloned the new ssd with EaseUS Todo Backup free. If thisis not working, please advise me how to do it right.

Thanks.
