Stream 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wish to install Ubuntu (16.04.6 x64 due to the limited Stream 13 specifications). The warranty on my device has expired and Windows 10 just takes up far too much space on the internal drive (which is a ridiculously small size to have shipped for a Windows 10 device). I have tried many times using various different methods to boot from a USB Stick but have been unsuccessful. This forum is my last resort as I do generally know what I am doing when it comes to Operating Systems.

I have used the memory stick on other computers including my Mac and it works fine every time, it is only on the Stream 13 that it doesn't.

I have the latest BIOS installed and have tried the legacy boot options, I have tried creating different USB installers and different makes of memory sticks including USB 2.0 and 3.0BIOS - 1.jpgBIOS - 2.jpgStream 13 Specifications.jpgUSB Stick Specifications.jpg

Pressing ESC.. F9 just loops with different options and regardless which option I select the only one that works is the option to boot to Windows.

Solved! After trying many different USB Memory Sticks a branded Toshiba 8Gb USB 2.0 loaded with Ubuntu created with YUMI EUFI worked like a charm!
