Hello everyone,
After an update (Windows 11) the laptop hangs in a boot loop. The "HP Sure Start" logo appears,
then the message Bios Update "the last step of the Bios update is being carried out",
then the "HP Sure Start" logo again, etc.
HP Sure start blocks all common key combinations reach the Bios menu.
Can anyone give me a tip on how to bypass HP Sure Start?
Best regards
Juergen

Hi Elohi_NR,
thank you very much for your answer. It is a Elitebook 840 G6 (Intel Core i5-8265U), running on Win 11 Pro (German).
As I mentioned before, the is no possibility to enter Bios. When starting the system the screen shows the HP logo and "Protected by HP Sure Start". The screen changes to "System -Bios aktualisieren" "Der letzte Schritt des Bios-Updates ist in Bearbeitung. Setzen Sie das System während des Updates NICHT zurück, schalten Sie es nicht aus und trennen Sie es nicht vom Stromnetz! Dieser Vorgang kann einige Minuten dauern. Bitte haben Sie Geduld" for about1 or 2 seconds. Then the HP logo and "Protected by HP Sure Start" again. I could not find any possibility to stop the loop or to enter Bios. None of the documented and reported procedures works. Thank you so much in advance for your help.
Kind regards
JBO
