HP Pavilion 15t-bc000 CTO, prod-t9y85av
I am trying to calibrate a new battery. HP Support Assistant says I need to calibrate the battery, and online help refers me Hardware Diagnostics UEFI. However, the instructions in my manual to get into UEFI (F2 after restart) don't work. I've also tried F6 and F10, with combinations of ESC before the function key or SHIFT before the function key). Anyway, I cannot get into UEFI and I'm really not sure that will calibrate the battery anyway.
This is my third battery. The second battery did not really calibrate after hours and hours of calibration and I gave up and just left the laptop plugged in. On the original battery, I got a few years use but never really checked it. So, I cannot even get into calibration with this battery - just use as is and by another in a year or so?
