I installed a new battery in a old lap top of mine, now i cant get pass an blue box asking for a Admin or Power on password. And i dont know either

BIOS (and Power) passwords are encoded into the firmware of the motherboard and we have no access of any kind to that. Changing such a password requires completely replacing the motherboard with a new one that does NOT have a password encoded into the firmware -- and that usually costs a LOT more than simply replacing the computer.


I wish we could help you -- but we can't, since we have no way from here to verify ownership of any computer.
