Hi, I'm recently having an issue with my OMEN. Problem started with static electricity shutting off my notebook. I sent it to HP service and they come up with HDD, battery and keyboard replacement. After three weeks of repair I finally got my PC back. Same day as I was doing some basic installations the issue came back. I could not turn on my PC after restart required by some of my programs (that was NVIDIA I guess). Putting that aside I have another issue coming up. That is PC turns off completely by pressing CAPS LOCK button. As I see it has LED on it I guess it may be connected with powering keyboard. As if this wasn't enough - I cannot turn my PC on for a while (it only blinks the power button and shuts off again). Combined this causes me a great deal of nuisance. I don't want to send it to the same service center because I feel they don't fix the cause of the problem but only the results.

@Laichman That looks like a hardware malfunction as capslock isn't designed to turn off the device, here's what I suggest we do, make an attempt to fix the issue:
Let's perform a power reset as per HP standards:
- Ensure your laptop is OFF.
- Unplug all the external devices (If any).
- Disconnect the power charger from the computer, and remove the battery.
- Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
- Connect the power supply (power adapter).
- Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
- Then put your battery back.

If the issue persists, please update the BIOS, Chipset and graphics card drivers: click here to find and install the same.
