Laptop needs to be restarted when the Caps lock led blinks. Cannot use the keyboard. Pls help asap.

How about the code for the cap lock light flashes?

I get 5 long and 3 short flashes.

It happens randomly and I have reset the Bios several times and just recently cot my machine back from HP service after it black screened.

I was informed somewhere along the line that there was a code to the flashes that better indicated what the problem was.

Can anybody help with that?
