Product: HP EliteBook 840 G3 Base Model Notebook PC

For the first time today, my laptop doesn't seem to want to play ball.

 

Black screen, no power, when I try to power on, the caps lock and f12 blink a white light 8 times.

 

I've tried the basics, removing battery, removing ram etc but nothing seems to work.

Also tried to hold windows key and v/b to run BIOS but nothing happening!

 

Any ideas what I could try next? Not sure if a ram issues, battery issue or something totally different!
