Hello my hp laptop won't turn on due to my caplocks.The screen is black and the power is on but can't get caps lock off

I'm not sure what you mean by the caps lock won't shut off.

 

If  it is blinking a code or you hear a beeping sound, then you can look up the error code up here

Hello I pressed start on my hp laptop but cap locks comes on and it won't shut off and there's a black screen and no beeps or any other lights on.I tried powering off and back on but nothing light is still flashing

Try a reset as mentioned in one of the beep code links I provided earlier.

  • Turn on the computer by holding the power button down for 20 full seconds then release.
  • Press the Power button one more time (if necessary) to start the computer.

 

make sure to do the full 20 seconds.

 

Do you know what could have caused this problem?


Power glitch? Upgrade to windows 11?
Microsoft or HP update? Add a new device, memory, etc?
BIOS upgrade that went wrong?
