Hi
I have an HP Elitebook 840 G5. I recently upgraded it to windows 11. However the Bios couldn't update despite trying to update for several times. Now the PC won't boot, sometimes it boots after several attempts. This time, only the capslock and num lock keeps flashing 7 times each time I try to boot.
The power led next to the charging port has a solid white color, even after I try to force shut down. Sometimes the white and orange colour flash simultaneously when attempting to boot

See if you can run diagnostics. If there is a memory problem then any attempt to restore bios will cause worse problems.
Tap the ESC key after powering on to run diagnostics.
Do not allow any updates if disk or memory fail, especially a BIOS update.
Let me know what happens.
Compare the flashing LED to the following codes
Beep codes and reset instructions
Click here to see how to recover your BIOS. Do only 1 and 2.
step 3 is a last resort.
