HP Notebook - 15-r218na
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi - I've put a SSD into the laptop, and taken out the old non SSD.  I can't now boot to the old disk via USB, despite changing the BIOS setting to UEFI boot order to USB Diskette on KEY/USB to the top.

Bios just says - attempting repairs, and doesn't seem to boot to the old disk.  Any ideas?

Windows does not play nice when placed on an external device and asked to boot from the external device.  It has not allowed that experience until just recently and the user has to jump thru hoops to get it to work.

I found a thread that discusses this option, so have a read
