HP Recommended
Pavilion 15-cs0061cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The laptop appears to be 100% functional otherwise, but the charge indicator is CONTINUOUSLY blinking white 5 times, regardless of any state the laptop could be in. Even when I plug in the laptop and get the normal orange charge light, it interrupts the orange charge light, instead doing the 5 white blinks.

I've done a battery check with HP Assistant, Windows Hardware check - and even booting into the UEFI Diagnostics and testing it there. All pass, but the light is still there. A power/hard reset didn't do anything, nor did a BIOS update (currently on Rev. F.24).

For some reason, a "flex charge" adapter from HP (that supplies only 45 Watts) was used to charge the laptop due to a prior misplacement of the original 65 watt charger.

Is there something wrong on the hardware level?
