Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

I have a notebook that doesn't power on. Power adapter is connected (65W , new) ant het only thing tat is happening is the LED next to the charging port is blinking orange (amber) at a rate of 1 every second. No other LED's turn on when pressing the power button.

If I hold the power button for a long time, the charging LED goes out. releasing the button results in starting the orange 1Hz cycle again. (so I guess the Powerbutton is OK)

 

What I tried:

-Removing the battery with adapter plugged in: same 1Hz orange

-Connecting the battery while pressing the power button and the adapter plugged in: Same 1hz Orange
