Product: HP Chromebook 11A G8 Education Edition

I accidentally put my chromebook to sleep and opened it immediately, it had shut off and was hot.  I tried to let it cool but after an hour it's still super hot and if I take the fan off it it heats up again.  It's not turning on either.  Why is it still so hot?  Why won't it turn on? 

I tried to contact hp but I had to pay for service because my warranty expired.  I need help. Or should I just take it to someone to fix.
