Product: HP Chromebook 11 G8 Education Edition
Operating System: Chrome OS
I just found this problem today. I cannot contact my teacher and tell him that my chromebook isn’t working as it is school break because of Easter. So I haven’t opened my chromebook in a week or less. I tried to turn it on but it showed a black screen. The battery most likely drained is what I thought. I got a charger, and I verified it was working. It showed a red light which indicated it was charging. I then clicked the power button again but it showed a black screen. My chromebook usually charges instantly which is weird. I left it to charge more for an hour. It still doesn’t turn on! I gave up so I came here looking for ways to fix it.
