HP Chromebook 0043
Chrome OS

I have a HP Chromebook, model number 14-db0043wm. It has started lagging badly and takes forever to load a page. I have good wifi so that's not an issue. I took it to a computer repair shop and he said it is possible that it's the hard drive. I have deleted every picture, video, and file and it's still lagging. Any chance i can buy a new hard drive for this computer and replace it myself? Does anyone have any other ideas to help me?

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Your ChromeBook does not have a "hard drive" - it has a memory chip used for storage.  It's soldered to the main board.

 

(I'd be careful going back to that computer repair shop!!)
