Hi @Kgarcia04,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Chromebook isn't powering on, try these steps to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check Power Connection: Ensure the Chromebook is properly plugged into a power source and that the charger is securely connected to both the Chromebook and the power outlet.
- Reset Chromebook: Sometimes, a simple reset can resolve power issues. To do this, press and hold the Power button for about 10-15 seconds until the Chromebook turns off. Then, release the button and press it again to turn it back on.
- Check for Charging Indicator: Look for any LED indicators on the Chromebook that show it's charging. If there are no lights, try using a different power outlet or a different charger if available.
- Inspect for Physical Damage: Check the Chromebook for any physical damage, especially around the power port and charger. Damage could prevent proper charging or power delivery.
- Perform a Hard Reset: If the Chromebook still doesn't power on, perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the Refresh button (usually located where the F3 key would be) and then pressing the Power button. Hold both buttons down for about 10 seconds and then release.
These steps should help diagnose and possibly resolve the power issue with your HP Chromebook.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
