What are the suggested software and the procedure for me to clone the existing Hard Drive Model SK hynix BC711 HFM256GD3JX013N to another drive with a larger capacity?
The laptop is running as follows:
- Windows 11, encrypted with Bitlocker
- Hybrid Azure AD / Entra ID joined
- Enrolled and managed with Intune.
- Windows Hello for Business is configured for biometrics and PIN.
Any steps to follow would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.,

When you are ready to clone the drive assuming you have the USB3/USB-C to NVMe enclosure to install the new SSD in so you can clone it, I recommend you use the 30-day trial Macrium Reflect trial edition to clone a smaller drive to a larger one.
Here is the link to the software: Select the Home edition.
Then watch this video for how to clone the smaller capacity drive to a larger one:

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the M.2 SSD removal and replacement procedure:
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
I've never cloned a drive with Bitlocker turned on, so you may want to temporarily turn Bitlocker off, clone the drive, install the drive and then turn Bitlocker back on, or at least have your Bitlocker recovery key available in case you need it.
