Product: HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ed0013dx

Computer dies and will not boot up after shutting down. If laptop is opened and battery disconnected and reattached, it can boot again until shut down.

 

After a shutdown, the power led on the top and the charging light on the side go out and will not come back on until battery power is cycled.

 

I have replaced:

1) The battery.

2) Power adapter.

3) The power jack

4) Updated BIOS.

 

Still same problem.

If I had the schematic to this laptop, I am pretty sure I could find the problem, but no one has it.
