Hi @Jimmyjub,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  1. What is the exact model number and age of your Envy x360?
  2. When you press the power button, do you see any LED lights, hear fan noise, or hear any beeps?
  3. Have you tried removing any external devices (USB drives, docking stations, etc.) and then attempting to power it on?
  4. Has the laptop ever been exposed to liquid spills, drops, or overheating?
  5. Was the battery completely drained before this happened, or was it previously charging normally?

Troubleshooting steps to try

  1. Perform a hard reset / power drain
    • Disconnect the charger and remove any peripherals
    • Hold the power button for 30–60 seconds
    • Reconnect the charger and try powering on
  2. Test with AC power only
    • If the battery is internal, just ensure you’re using a known-good HP charger with the correct voltage and amperage
  3. Inspect charging port and connector
    • Check the USB-C port or power jack for dust, debris, or bent pins
    • Wiggling the connector slightly while plugged in can sometimes indicate a loose internal connection
  4. Try a different power outlet
    • Simple but sometimes overlooked ensure the outlet is working by testing another device
  5. Look for diagnostic LEDs
    • Some Envy x360 models flash diagnostic codes when there’s a power or motherboard issue
    • Note any blinking patterns or sequences

I hope this helps.

We tried everything you said and no there wasn't any liquid damage. The computer is just over 2 years old and out of warranty
