Hello.

As the title suggests i got a corrupt BIOS on my laptop HP G62-a10EP due to an unforseen power shortage in my home while updating its system.

As you can imagine i no longer can use my laptop and the only thing that happens is that it turns on i get a black screen and the light on the capslock blinks 2 times.

If i read correctly it means i have a corrupt bios and i must do a system Flash.

Problem is don't have the proper file to do this procedure neither the support on the site offers any solution aside from the "Win+B." trick, without the proper bios file i can't do anything.

I know its an old Laptop but i very much would like to keep using it, so if i could get any assistance in solving this issue i would be very grateful.

Thank you.

I've read that document already, but it never mentions any solutions to Notebooks that don't have UEFI BIOS.

As such, none of the BIOS files in the drivers section, enabled the creation of a USB recovery stick wich makes it impossible for me to execute any kind of recovery.

I've come to the conclusion that i'm not going to find a solution for my problem so i might as well not continue with this.
