HP Spectre 13-v001na (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been getting a CMOS CRC corruption errors (502) and the only way to recover my system is by reflashing the BIOS from an external drive. This already happened 3 times after leaving my laptop's main battery to drain entirely. I'm wondering if after ~8 years of usage, my laptop's RTC battery has drained which prevents the motherboard to keep its settings, causing the CRC error to flag up. I would like to try to replace this battery, but its serial number is not listed in the  Maintenance and Service Guide. As far as I'm aware, the HP Spectre 13 Pro G1 does have a replaceable RTC. Could someone please update me with its part number and its potential source?

This problem may be related to the fact that about 2 years ago I have replaced the laptop's main battery with a new one as it's lifetime had massively declined. The battery works fine but even at full charge it shows ~64%. Could bad battery calibration cause this issue by draining the battery too much in standby mode? If this model does not have an extra battery for the RTC, depleting the main battery may cause the CMOS to become corrupt.

In the meantime I managed to restore the operation by factory resetting the security settings in the BIOS, clearing the CRC error. Added benefit is that I didn't need to reinstall Windows.
