This question has been asked before with less detail and the thread seems to be dead.
I have an HP Pavillion x2 detachable win-10.
Every time I use Chrome browser the cursor disappears after a while.
I have tried cancelling the harsware acccelleration option.
I have uninstalled the touchpad drivers and reinstalled them.
I have tried disabling the touchpad drivers and reverting to the generic windows driver.
Please don't tell me to factory reset the laptop.
I have had this problem from the get go when I bought this machine a few months ago.
This solution never works and costs the user a lot of time and headache.
The problem keeps coming back.
It is not a hardware problem because it is limited to the Chrome environment.
I suspect it has something to do with the fact that the screen is touch and with win-10.
This seems to be a problem disturbing many HP clients.
I would be good to have a step by step instruction of everything that can be done.
If HP doesn't have a solution it would be good to know that explicitly (so I will move to a different browser)

- You need to google CCleaner to download and install it.
- Then install the latest version of Google Chrome from the Google website.
- Then check if the issue gets resolved.
- If it does not uninstall the Chrome Browser again and then create a new local administrator user account and reinstall Google Chrome back and check again.
- This should do the trick for you.
- To create a new local user account please follow the steps outlined in this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/instantanswers/5de907f1-f8ba-4fd9-a89d-efd23fee918c/create-a-loc...
