When i get boot from boot menu i can't see DVD/CD player in this menu but the DVD is appearing in windows normally . please help me to fix this problem

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Community.

 

This may happen because of variety of reasons:

- the PC does not recognize the DVD you are trying to use as bootable one - it is not written properly to be able to boot it from

- settings from the BIOS

 

I am kind of excluding the option for DVD device corruption because Windows can see it. Are you able to indeed read the DVD from within Windows ?

 

Can you provide more information about what you are trying to boot from ? How did you write the DVD ? Any details or even pictures from your camera/phone would be great.
